Moving to Juventus at the age of just 22 was a big step up for Paulo Dybala but he has proven his worth in Turin.
The Argentina international left Palermo for €32m in 2015 and has since been a crucial player at Juve.
“From Palermo to Turin the change was drastic,” the 25-year-old said in an interview with Otro.
“I was used to having breakfast on the beach, getting a tan and the weather was completely different.
“The first months were hard, I was used to other rhythms. I could easily run around the city, but when you’re at Juventus it’s another thing.
“People stopped me to take photos all the time, though it’s nice when people or children ask you. I like Turin, but at the beginning, it was difficult because I missed Palermo a lot. Now that it’s been four years at Juve, I can say it’s my family.”
An admission like that will be music to the ears of Juventus fans.
Dybala has been regularly been linked with a move away from the club, with interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona constantly reported.
However, the forward seems more than happy at the Allianz Stadium for now.
