Both Juventus and the player himself have confirmed that Paulo Dybala has finally tested negative for Covid-19.
The striker tested positive for coronavirus in mid-March and even tests which he underwent six weeks after that initial diagnosis came back positive.
However, Dybala underwent a double swab test and the results returned were both negative, Juventus announced on Wednesday evening.
As a result, the Argentine will no longer be permitted to undergo self-isolation at home and is free to join his team-mates at limited training sessions at Vinovo.
His girlfriend Oriana Sabatini also contracted the virus.
Speaking on an Instagram Live video this week, the former Palermo man admitted he was missing the game more than he thought he would.
“To tell you the truth, I never thought I was going to miss playing and training that much,” Dybala confessed.
“I feel like I need to train, see my team-mates and friends and at least touch the ball because training at home isn’t the same on my own.
“I need to put my boots on and run, score a goal. As I always say, when you are passionate you make everything twice as important.”
