Paul Pogba has no interest in joining the exodus to the Saudi Pro League, according to L’Equipe.
The former Manchester United midfielder has become the latest big-name target for Saudi Arabia as they strive to boost the global standing of their league.
Saudi Arabian clubs have already snapped up Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly.
Jota, Edouard Mendy, Ruben Neves, Roberto Firmino and Marcelo Brozovic have also joined the Saudi Pro League this summer.
However, Pogba wants to stay at Juventus. He is targeting a return to the France national team for the 2024 European Championship.
Pogba struggled with injuries last season following his return to Juventus on a free transfer. He played just ten matches for the Bianconeri.
The season brought controversial drama for the World Cup-winning midfielder. His elder brother Mathias and several other men were arrested for attempting to blackmail the Juventus star.
Amid rumours of a move to Saudi Arabia, the Juventus midfielder visited the nation, sparking rumours that he would accept the Saudi proposal.
However, the reports indicate the visit was for personal reasons, and he is not looking to leave Italy.
Juventus would accept an offer for the midfielder due to his persistent injury problems and their financial issues. He is on a massive salary they would not mind getting off their books.
The Turin club is not in the Champions League next season. They will play in the Europa Conference League after a ten-point deduction due to corrupt financial practices.
However, Pogba is preparing for next season with Juventus and is eager to contribute to the cause.
He hopes to return to full fitness in time for their pre-season tour of the United later this month.
