Paul Pogba was in Saudi Arabia and visited Al-Ittihad’s training facilities but the midfielder wants to stay at Juventus.
TuttoJuve’s Mirko di Natale has reported that Pogba left for Jeddah on Friday afternoon on a private jet and he spent the weekend in Saudi Arabia. But the reason for the trip was not football-related. He visited the country for personal and religious reasons.
He wants to stay at Juventus and soon enough, he will be back at Continassa and he will be training regularly with the Bianconeri as he gets back to fitness before the season starts. The interest from Al-Ittihad is real, but the midfielder is focused on the Old Lady.
Yesterday, it was revealed that the Saudi club has offered Pogba €100m on a three-year deal and they are keen on signing him, after having signed Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante already. But it seems as if Pogba is waiting to redeem himself after a injury-stricken first season in Turin.
