Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has returned to training with the club, according to Romeo Agresti.

Pogba has not returned to full training with the group. He is working separately, but he has now been on the pitch for the second consecutive day.

Pogba will not be ready for the Bianconeri’s midweek UEFA Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain. He hopes to resume full training soon and become an option for Max Allegri.

Pogba picked up a medial meniscus injury in training for Juventus away in the United States. The France international opted against a surgery that would have seen him miss the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

He chose conservative therapy for about five weeks.

Pogba signed a four-year deal with Juventus this summer after a six-year stint at Manchester United that did not live up to its expectations.

Pogba joined United from Juventus in 2016 for £89 million, making him the world’s most expensive footballer. He had previously signed for Juventus for free after leaving United’s academy.

Pogba would suffer his latest injury only two weeks after his arrival, preventing him from making his second debut for Juventus.

The 29-year-old wants his recovery to go as planned, and his time will come in the coming weeks.

Pogba, at the moment, is dealing with personal issues away from football. He is at the centre of a blackmailing scheme organised by some extortionists.

Pogba claimed the blackmailers demanded as much as $13 million from him in exchange for “protection”.

Paul Pogba’s elder brother, Mathias Pogba, is believed to be one of the extortionists as he has been calling him out on social media.

Mathias claims the World Cup winner is a hypocrite for hiring a witch doctor despite claiming to be a Muslim. Mathias also claimed that Paul used a witch doctor to try and hold Kylian Mbappe back.

Pogba has admitted to hiring a witch doctor, but he claims it was to sort his injury issues and for a charity organisation he was sponsoring.

The case is still open and being investigated by the police.
