Paul Pogba (32) is now free to play football once again after serving a reduced ban. He has been allowed to train since January and play since March, however, no club has yet to make a move for the Frenchman, who is desperate to get his career moving again.

Olympique de Marseille have notably been strongly linked with a move for Pogba, who has publicly stated that he is open to a move to a Ligue 1 side. However, Foot Mercato now understands that a move to the Vélodrome this summer is unlikely, due to his significant wage demands.

However, the former Juventus and Manchester United midfielder has now been offered to local rivals AS Monaco, according to Foot Mercato’s report. It remains to be seen whether the Principality club will react to the offer. Monaco have been particularly attentive to the free agent market. Eric Dier has already joined on a free transfer, whilst Sergio Reguilón is also a target.
