Paul Pogba is on the brink of terminating his contract with Juventus after serving a doping ban.
According to reports from Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail and Fabrizio Romano on Sunday, the French World Cup winner has begun discussions over departing the club.
Pogba was banned from playing professional football due to a positive drug test, but his initial four-year sentence was reduced to just 18 months.
He is now welcome to play as early as March 2025 but won’t do so in Turin. The 31-year-old midfielder and club have agreed to part ways by mutual consent despite his contract running until 2026.
Pogba made 190 appearances for Juventus over two spells, registering 34 goals and 41 assists across all competitions.
He also played for Manchester United and will try to reignite his career in the new year by representing another club.
