Behind-the-scenes footage has emerged of the stirring speech Paul Pogba gave to his France team-mates before the World Cup final.
Les Bleus won the World Cup for the second time in the nationâs history with a 4-2 victory over Croatia in Moscow on Sunday.
And on Monday, a documentary aired on French TV station TF1 which revealed Pogbaâs amazing leadership qualities.
The following clip shows the Manchester United midfielderâs rallying cry before his sideâs 4-3 victory over Argentina in the round of 16.
âGuys, we want to see warriors on the field today,â he says.
âTonight, I donât want to go home. Tonight I donât go home. We still stay in this hotel. We will continue eating that fucking pasta. I donât give a fuck. Today we donât go home.
âWe will end up happy. I want us to party tonight. I want us all to die on the field. But nobody leaves his teammate. On the field, we are all together. Warriors, soldiers.
âToday, we are going to kill them, those Argentinians. Messi, not Messi, we donât give a fuck. We come to win this fucking World Cup, we need to get through this.â
Didier Deschampsâ side then overcame Uruguay and Belgium en route to the final, before which Pogba again delivered an impassioned address.
âI donât want to talk too much,â he said.
âWe all know where we are. We all know what we want. We know the path we went through. In our hearts, in our eyes, I can see it, we are focused.
âGuys, donât forget, I might repeat myself, but we are only 90 minutes away from an amazing story. One game. I donât know how many games we played in our careers, in our lives. But here, it is one game and it will change everything. It will change history.
âThere are two teams and one cup. It is the same for them, they want it. We lost a final, we know. We still have it here, here and here (showing hearts, guts and mind).
âToday, we donât let another team take what is ours. Today we look at each other and we donât let another team take what is ours.
âI want that tonight we make our place in every French personâs memory. And their kids, their grandkids⊠Today, 90 minutes to make it into history. For ever, for ever guys.
âSo now I am looking at you, I donât want to shout. I want us to get on the field as warriors, leaders. And after I want to see tears, tears of joy not tears of sadness. Tears of joy on the field and all âkissing each otherâ, OK?â
The 25-year-old went on the score Franceâs third goal in the final, and became a world champion for the first time in his career.
What a man.
