According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Paul Pogba (31) is attracting interest from clubs in the MLS amid the potentiality that his contract could be terminated with Juventus. The France international has been cleared to play football from March after his 4-year doping ban from football was reduced after 18 months.
The Serie A club believes that they can terminate the contract of the 31-year-old midfielder after he tested positive for a banned substance after a match against Udinese in which he was an unused substitute. Thiago Motta was coy about the potential reintegration of Pogba into his Juventus squad in a recent press conference.
If Pogba’s contract was to be terminated and he was to move to the USA, the former Manchester United midfielder would follow in the footsteps of two of his former international teammates. Olivier Giroud and Hugo Lloris have both swapped Europe for North America, and Antoine Griezmann has long been touted to follow suit.
