Arsenal had seven players in the England youth teams from the u17s to the u21s over the international break, here’s how they got on.

England u21s

Arsenal loanee Folarin Balogun was called up for the England u21s, following his strong form in Ligue 1 with Stade de Reims.

  • Italy 0-2 England u21s – Balogun played 19 minutes as a substitute.
  • England u21s 3-1 Germany – Balogun played 71 minutes and scored for England.

England u20s

Arsenal had two more loanees in the England u20s, with Charlie Patino of Blackpool and Brooke Norton-Cuffy of Rotherham United involved.

All three games were played in Pinatar, Spain, and England ended up winning the Pinatar Tournament, but Norton-Cuffy seemingly withdrew after his recent injury concerns.

  • Chile 0-3 England u20s – Patino played nine minutes as a substitute.
  • Morocco 1-2 England u20s – Patino played 71 minutes and scored for England.
  • Australia 0-3 England u20s – Patino played 15 minutes as a substitute.

England u19s

Arsenal didn’t receive any call-ups for the u19s on this occasion.

England u18s

Lino Sousa and Amario Cozier-Duberry both received deserved call-ups for the England u18s, after they each featured with the Arsenal first team in training and travelled with the Europa League squad.

Just like the u20s, the u18s were playing at the Pinatar Arena in Spain, and they won the Costa Calida Supercup.

  • Netherlands 0-1 England u18s – Sousa played 90 minutes and Cozier-Duberry played 59 minutes.
  • Faroe Islands 1-2 England u18s – Cozier-Duberry played 10 minutes as a substitute.
  • Belgium 1-2 England u18s – Sousa played 45 minutes and Cozier-Duberry played 89 minutes and scored for England.

England u17s

Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have been called up to the England u17 squad for the Syrenka Cup, with England joining Portugal, Mexico, Poland, Uzbekistan, Norway, Romania, and the Czech Republic at the event.

  1. Czech Republic 0-3 England u17s – Lewis-Skelly played 62 minutes and Nwaneri played 84 minutes.
  2. Norway 2-1 England u17s – Lewis-Skelly played 45 minutes and Nwaneri came on for 32 minutes as a substitute.
  3. Poland 5-0 England u17s – Nwaneri played 61 minutes and Lewis-Skelly came on for 45 minutes as a substitute.
