Rangers remained six points clear at the top with a narrow win over Hearts, Jane Ross finding the net after half an hour.

Glasgow City hit Hamilton for six, Emily Whelan scoring in either half and the rest of the goals coming after the break from Aleigh Gambone, Lauren Davidson, Wilma Forsblom and Cori Sullivan.

Aberdeen had to come from behind to beat Montrose, Holly Daniel’s opener cancelled out by Eilidh Shore before Francesca Ogilvie fired in an 87th-minute winner.
