Arsenal have found some sort of foothold this season after beating Norwich City in their last game. Mikel Arteta would be hoping for a similar result against Burnley at Turf Moor. However, he would also expect his forwards to finish their chances this time around. The Gunners would be hoping for a confident display from their team, considering Arsenal are not in any European competition this season.

Defence

Aaron Ramsdale was handed a league debut against Norwich last Saturday, and he came up with a flawless performance. He will retain his spot between the sticks as Bernd Leno will be on the bench for cover.

Kieran Tierney is set to start at the left-hand side of the defence and continue his good form. He will be partnered with Gabriel and Ben White at the centre back spots. Both the players looked very comfortable, considering they never played together before. Ben White’s dribbling and passing from the back has provided Arteta’s men with a different outlay in attack so far.

Takehiro Tomiyasu was cheered every time he touched the ball on his debut, and he repaid the support back with a wonderful 60 minutes. He will start at the right-hand side of the defence.

Midfield

Ainsley Maitland-Niles started the game against Norwich with Albert Sambi Lokonga. Thomas Partey came late on and provided an outstanding pass which later ended up in the back of the net. This time around, Partey looks set to start against a physical Burnley side and will provide cover for Gabriel and White.

Lokonga has been a breath of fresh air in the midfield for Arsenal. He will retain his spot after showing his immense passing capabilities against Norwich.

Martin Odegaard looks like a guaranteed starter these days as Arsenal lack anyone close to his abilities. He will play just ahead of the two midfielders and try to pull strings around the field. Emile Smith Rowe might get a run out during the second half if the north London side struggle to break the Burnley defence.

Attack

Bukayo Saka gave Norwich City player Rupp a nightmare every time he got the ball. He will be hoping for a similar display against Sean Dyche’s men as he will start on the left hand side of the field.

Nicolas Pepe also looks set to start at the right-wing spot as he looks in good touch this season. He provided the assist for the only goal against Norwich.

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang will lead the line for the Gunners. He will be hoping to add more to his goal tally this season, having scored 4 in his last two games. Lacazette and Martinelli will be hoping to influence the game coming on from the bench.
