Parma are seeking a new attacking addition before the close of the summer transfer window, and in the last few hours, they have made concrete steps towards the signing of Gaetano Oristanio from Venezia, Football Italia understands.
Parma’s interest in Oristano dates back to the end of June, which is when they first expressed an interest in picking up the 22-year-old from Venezia. For a while, the Crociati decided to focus on other, more pressing transfer targets.
Torino have also had a long-standing interest in the former Inter talent, but have not yet been in a position to close a deal with Venezia.

Recent injuries have forced Parma to return to the market to explore potential attacking options, hence their return to Venezia for Oristanio.
Negotiations between the two clubs are now being finalised, and it is expected that Oristanio will move on loan with an option to buy in what is considered a surprise agreement.
