Paris Saint-Germain are very interested in Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, according to reports in Brazil.
Sandro came very close to leaving Juve for Chelsea last summer but ended up staying in Turin after a move failed to materialise.
Real Madrid and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the 27-year-old but the Ligue 1 leaders are apparently hoping to put themselves at the front of the queue for his signature at the end of the season.
And the Brazilian could be just one of a host of new names heading to the Parc des Princes in the summer as PSG bid to strengthen their chances of being able to compete for the Champions League.
Speaking to Rai Sport, Claudia Garcia – a respected Brazilian journalist – said: “If PSG still don’t have clear ideas on their coach, they do on players.
“They are looking for a left-back, a centre-back and maybe a forward to replace Cavani if he leaves.
“In terms of the left-back, the priority at the moment is definitely Alex Sandro.
“PSG will go strongly, strongly for Alex Sandro in June.”
Sandro is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and is a doubt for the Bianconeri’s Champions League quarter-final clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday.
