With a history of misfortune at La Meinau in recent years, Paris Saint-Germain managed to turn their luck around and beat Strasbourg 4-1.
Scorers: Sahi 63′; Mbappe 16′, Sarabia 27′, Kean 45′, Paredes 79′
After losing their top-tier clash with league leaders Lille last week, Paris Saint-Germain are back to winning ways as they chase the Ligue 1 title.
Frontman Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring after beating goalkeeper Matz Sels from a near-impossible angle then strikes from Pablo Sarabia and Moise Kean gave the visitors a comfortable 3-0 lead.
In the second half, Strasbourg killed any hopes of a clean sheet after Dion Moise Sahi scored on Sergio Rico who replaced Keylor Navas at halftime. The consolation goal was the 19-year-old’s first for his club.
Yet nothing else from the hosts threatened PSG’s defence and eventually, Leandro Paredes’ free-kick capped off the victory.
PSG now sit three points back from Lille while Strasbourg sit fourteenth.
