The chase involving Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz had both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain chasing the player but the French side are very close to sealing the move.

Marco Conterio has reported that PSG’s move for Fabian Ruiz is heading close and he was the subject of competition from both PSG and Real Madrid, who are rather familiar rivals. Real Madrid signed Aurelien Tchouameni from the hands of PSG, who managed to keep Kylian Mbappe earlier this summer.

Ruiz is a player that Carlo Ancelotti has been looking to sign for a while now and wanted to sign for free next summer but PSG are now close to finding an agreement for the Spanish international in a move which will involve a transfer.

It was previously reported that Napoli had informed Fabian’s agent that he would be on the fringes of the first-team, if he doesn’t sign a new deal with the club and he hadn’t taken part in the club’s friendly against Espanyol recently.
