Paris FC targeting Ajax’s Anton Gaaei | OneFootball

According to a report from L’Équipe, Paris FC are targeting a move for Ajax’s Anton Gaaei (22) as they look to bolster their options at right-back.

The right side of the defence has been a key area that the newly promoted club have been looking to improve on during the summer transfer window. Les Parisiens had been close to securing their priority target, Hamari Traoré (33), but a deal has been put on the back burner.

Red Bull, which is the minority owner of Paris, reportedly would prefer a younger profile than Traoré. The club have not completely moved past the defender who currently plays for Real Sociedad, but they have opened themselves to other options.

Gaaei, a Denmark international, would better fit the profile Red Bull would prefer to bring in. L’Équipe writes that Paris have offered Ajax €6m for the defender, who has a contract until 2028.
