On Monday, Greek side PAOK formally announced the acquisition of defensive midfielder Douglas Augusto from Corinthians.
PAOK agreed to pay Timão R$13m (€3m) for the 22-year-old and have signed him to a four-year deal.
Corinthians will keep 15 per cent of his economic rights and should receive a total of around R$11.7m (€2.7m) after paying Fluminense for the 10 per cent of economic rights they still had on the player.
There will also be a ‘showcase’ fee they will have to pay to Bahia, the exact amount has been undisclosed.
Last season, Douglas featured in 15 Brasileirão contests for Corinthians before being loaned out to Bahia for the first half of the campaign.
