MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship continues with the third matchday in Group B on Thursday at the Malcolm Park Beach Soccer Facility in Nassau, The Bahamas.

Panama took sole proprietorship of first place in the group on the second matchday. The Bahamas came back against the United States and jumped to second in Group B.

The two best teams in each group will progress to the semifinals. The two finalists in the tournament will qualify for the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

United States vs. Panama

The United States faces a must-win encounter against Panama to keep its hopes alive of advancing.

The U.S. took a point from its opening encounter, winning 4-1 on penalties after a 2-2 draw against Trinidad and Tobago. Alessandro Canale and Gabe Silveira scored the goals in the first match, with Cody Valcarcel delivering a brace for the Stars and Stripes in the 3-2 defeat to The Bahamas.

Panama is coming off a 5-3 win against Trinidad and Tobago. Alfonso Maquensi struck a hat-trick, and Eliecer García earned a brace in the victory for Los Canaleros. Any positive result would put Panama in the next round.

The Bahamas vs. Trinidad and Tobago

The Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago meet eyes on a victory in their aspirations to advance to the semifinals.

The hosts earned a 3-2 victory over the United States to move up to second in the Group B standings. Brandon Adderley, Wood Julmis, and Timothy Munnings scored in the victory. The Bahamas began its campaign with a 2-2 draw, losing 4-3 on PKs to Panama, with Creven Ferguson and Wood Julmis scoring in regulation.

Trinidad and Tobago seek its first victory in its final group stage encounter. Akinola Gregory struck a brace in the 2-2 draw and loss on penalties to the U.S. Kevon Woodley collected his brace, with Jay-Son Joseph also joining the scoresheet, in the 5-3 loss to Panama.
