Chelsea entertained Everton at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 13th minute when Cole Palmer found the back of the net. Palmer doubled his team’s lead just five minutes later before going on to complete his hat-trick in the 29th minute. Nicolas Jackson scored again for Chelsea in the 44th minute as Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into the half-time break 4-0 up on the scoreline.

Palmer scored his fourth goal in the 64th minute from the penalty spot before Alfie Gilchrist made it 6-0 to Chelsea in the 90th minute. The contest finished with the Blues securing a dominant 6-0 win in front of their home fans.

Silva gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and was a strong presence in the air.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 8/10

The Spaniard was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Moises Caicedo – 8/10

Caicedo anchored the midfield with conviction and made two decent runs with the ball.

CM: Conor Gallagher – 8.5/10

He came back to defend when needed and was a constant menace in the final third.

RW: Noni Madueke – 7/10

Madueke made some promising runs with the ball but there was no goal for him.

CAM: Cole Palmer – 10/10

Palmer scored four goals tonight and deserves to be named the man of the match.

LW: Mykhailo Mudryk – 7/10

He used his pace well at times but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.

ST: Nicolas Jackson – 9.5/10

Jackson was a real threat in the final third and ended the game with a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.
