Chelsea entertained Manchester United at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the fourth minute when Conor Gallagher got his name on the scoresheet. Cole Palmer doubled Chelsea’s lead from the penalty spot in the 19th minute. However, Alejandro Garnacho got a goal back for Man United in the 34th minute before Bruno Fernandes equalised just five minutes later. Both teams went into the half-time break with a 2-2 scoreline.

Garnacho scored again for the Red Devils with a good header in the 67th minute. However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men refused to give up and managed to equalise thanks to Palmer’s penalty in the tenth minute of injury-time. Palmer scored again in dramatic fashion just a minute later as Chelsea secured a brilliant 4-3 win at Stamford Bridge.

He made two important saves at the back but won’t be pleased about conceding three goals during the game.

RB: Malo Gusto – 7/10

Gusto caught the eye at times in both halves and managed to engineer some promising chances for his teammates up top.

CB: Axel Disasi – 6/10

Disasi was far from convincing on the defensive end of the field but made one key chance going forward.

CB: Benoit Badiashile – 6/10

He made two crucial clearances but failed to keep things solid at the back.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6.5/10

The Spaniard worked hard defensively and made one good chance in the final third.

CM: Moises Caicedo – 5/10

He made some poor errors inside his half and was replaced in the 70th minute.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 7/10

The Argentine created some inviting chances for his teammates and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

RW: Cole Palmer – 10/10

Palmer was a constant menace in the final third and bagged a hat-trick to help Chelsea win this game.

CAM: Conor Gallagher – 8/10

Gallagher caused some headaches for the opposition defenders and scored the opening goal in the fourth minute.

LW: Mykhailo Mudryk – 6.5/10

He had a few lively moments in the final third but there was no goal for him.

Jackson was a real handful for the opposition defenders and made two good chances for others around him.
