In a packed fixture list, Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino has given his players an entire week off training in reward for six consecutive victories.
The Viola started their campaign earlier than most, playing the preliminary round of the Conference League in August.
That also contributed to the difficult initial results, but they have now well and truly found their feet.
From October 3, Fiorentina have put together a run of eight victories in nine competitive games, including six wins in a row in Serie A.

With many players away on international duty, Palladino has decided to buck the trend and give the others a week off from training.
Dodo revealed the plan had been laid with a sign in the locker room promising a certain number of days off depending on how many wins in a row they amassed.
The Tuscans are currently joint second in Serie A with Atalanta, Inter and Lazio, only one point off leaders Napoli.
