Maresca is unhappy with having 48 hours less time to prepare for the Conference League final.

However, things have been more difficult over the second half of the campaign with Chelsea dropping down to fifth and clinging onto their Champions League hopes.

After Sunday’s final day showdown with Forest the Blues literally have two days to prepare for the Conference League final, whilst Betis have 48 hours more which Maresca isn’t happy about.

However, not everyone is in agreement with the Italian and Jordan has torn into the 45-year for his complaints on the scheduling.

“Maybe if you got the job done, you could have put the reserves out [this weekend], so pack it in,” he told talkSPORT.

“I mean, the bottom line is you’re playing in the pub Conference League. You should be able to win it anyway. I know Betis will be more formidable opposition than you’ve had previously.”

Chelsea not expected to make managerial change

Maresca has come under increased pressure in recent weeks, but it’s been reported his job is safe regardless of how the season ends.

The Italian is still on track to deliver what most Chelsea fans expected this campaign, but a lot are unhappy with the style of football.

Chelsea are said to believe Maresca can become one of the best coaches in the industry, and if they truly believe that they need to give him the time and back him this summer.
