Pablo Torre thrilled with Barcelona move: I arrive with utmost humility | OneFootball

Pablo Torre is delighted with his move to Barcelona.

Signed last season, the former Racing Santander midfielder enjoyed his presentation at the Nou Camp today.

"In the end I dropped into an institution as big as Barça and the truth is that I am very happy, my family is very happy, we are delighted with the city and I hope to give everything to be able to help the team with whatever it needs," he declared.

Torre defined himself as "a player that I like to be in contact with the ball, I don't like not having it so I try to get it back quickly because in the end I'm a player who treats the ball well and who likes to enjoy football."

Asked about his ambitions, he said: "In the long term all the players who come to Barça would like to succeed but in the short term I will try to help the team in whatever it needs, I come with the utmost humility but also with the utmost competence and to contribute my bit of sand for whatever it takes."

On Barca coach Xavi, Torre also said, "Yes, he called me, obviously I was surprised that someone like Xavi knew me so well. He explained the project to me and what he wanted from me and I am delighted to be here."
