Pablo Aimar's heartfelt message fills Argentina with pride | OneFootball

After the Argentina U-20 national team won the COTIF tournament, Pablo Aimar reminded the players how important it is to wear the shirt of the Albiceleste.

In addition to managing the U-17 and U-20 national teams, respectively, Aimar and Lionel Scaloni have been named caretaker managers of the senior team.

Aimar had a stern message to the youngsters after their victory over Russia in the final.

“To train, complete, and win one the biggest youth tournaments is to fulfill the first part of a great dream that is to wear the jersey of the Albiceleste.”

The players should have immense pride in wearing these colors and especially what the jersey symbolises. Aimar’s message continued as he directed the players to not forget where they came from.

“There are families who pay for the shirts in 24 installments and they give it to you to train. It’s a very big privilege. Be willing to represent Argentine football and give everything for the badge.”
