The top four all won with Wolves holding a three-point lead over both Nottingham Forest and Burnley who both had big away wins, while Huddersfield took the points at Loughborough.
Southern Premier Division

Oxford United regained the leadership from Watford with the only goal at Gillingham, Portsmouth went level on points with the Hornets after they also won on the road.
Division 1 Midlands

Newcastle United are back on top of the table, as a result of their win at York City, combined with Leeds United going down at home to Durham, Cestria also going above the Whites, with whom Barnsley are now level on points with the defeat of Middlesbrough.
