Liverpool locked horns with AC Milan at San Siro earlier tonight as they looked to make it six wins out of six group stage matches in the UEFA Champions League. The Reds made a solid start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 29th minute when Fikayo Tomori scored from point-blank range. However, Mohamed Salah equalised for the Merseyside outfit just seven minutes later with a tidy finish. Both sides went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.

Divock Origi gave Liverpool the lead in the 55th minute with a good header from close range. Jurgen Klopp’s men defended their lead well and secured an impressive 2-1 win on their travels.
