Inter and AC Milan are set to play in front of over 37,000 spectators when they meet in the massive derby clash over the weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that with the last remaining tickets to go on sale tomorrow morning, the San Siro will be at full 50% capacity for Saturday’s derby.

Stadiums in Italy still have their capacity restricted due to pandemic regulations, although they will be allowed to start letting in more than the five thousand spectators that they had temporarily been reduced to during the major Omicron wave.

As expected, the San Siro should have as many fans as it is allowed to for the derby clash between the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri, one of Italian football’s showpiece occasions and a match with massive Scudetto implications.

At 50% capacity, the stadium will play host to around 37,000 fans in total.
