Despite the Stadio Olimpico’s capacity restrictions linked to Covid-19, over 30,000 fans have purchased tickets for the derby between Lazio and Roma.

Around 20,000 of those are Biancocelesti fans, with the remaining 10,000 being the Giallorossi faithful.

Roma have started this season in better form than Lazio, having won four of their five opening Serie A matches. The only loss came last weekend against Hellas Verona.

The Biancocelesti, on the other hand, have had an inconsistent start to the campaign, with two wins, two draws, and one loss.

It will take time for the squad to adapt to coach Maurizio Sarri’s system and so the slow start is not a big surprise.
