Over €100 million in revenues are still to play for for Inter between the Champions League, Serie A, and the Coppa Italia.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who note that between potential prize money for this season, and the revenues that would come from playing in the Champions League next season, the stakes are massive for the Nerazzurri.

If Inter are to reach the quarterfinals of the Champions League in this evening’s round of sixteen second leg against Porto, then they would stand to earn around €20 million in prize money.

In addition, there would be the gate receipts from a match at the San Siro in the next round, which could be even more than the €6.7 million earned from the home leg of the tie against Porto.

Reaching the Champions League next season would guarantee the Nerazzurri earnings of around €50 million at minimum just for participating in the group stage of the competition.

In addition, the minimum of three home matches at the San Siro would mean further revenues from gate receipts.

Lastly, winning the Coppa Italia would bring the Nerazzurri prize money of around €6 million, whilst it would also mean participation in the Supercoppa Italiana next season, which this season saw Inter and Milan earn a total of €7 million.
