It has been a difficult few years at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the Spanish left-back and this season has summed that up.

Reguilon enjoying Brentford move

According to a report by AS, the left-back is believed to have found a club where he feels at home having joined Brentford in January.

Reguilon has been able to put in some solid displays for the Bees since landing in west London last month having become a regular under Thomas Frank.

It is claimed Spurs are desperate to sell the 27-year-old in the summer and the move to Brentford may go a long way in bringing his value back up.

And now it seems he has found a club where he is enjoying football again as he continues to impress.

Reguilon impressing at Brentford

Since making the move across London, Reguilon has been able to make five appearances in the Premier League and picked up an assist against Wolves.

He has now played in some big games against Liverpool and Manchester City where he has come out with a lot of credit.

The report from Spain labels Reguilon’s recent display at the Etihad Stadium as ‘outstanding’ despite finding himself on the losing side.

It hasn’t been the move Spurs will have hoped for having signed Reguilon for £32m back in 2020, but they’ll be delighted to see him hitting form at Brentofrd.

With Destiny Udogie shining under Ange Postecoglou, a way back to the Spurs side feels long gone now, but this loan move will be doing his value no harm.

Ahead of the summer, Reguilon has just one year remaining on his Spurs deal which may prove an interesting option for the Bees.
