If a report from the Daily Record is believed to be true, Rangers are open to offers for George Edmundson and Jordan Jones amid interest from Ipswich Town and Wigan Athletic. Both of them have slipped down the pecking order in their respective roles and the Bears are willing to cash in on the pair ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Edmundson was roped in from Oldham Athletic a couple of summers ago. The 23-year-old centre-half was handed a sporadic status behind Connor Goldson, Filip Helander and Nikola Katic, but he impressed in limited minutes with his calmness and composure. His performance against Braga in the Europa League attained accolades and appreciation, however, the suspension last year for breaching covid protocols sent him further down the pecking order.

Edmundson was not alone to get punished. Jones breached the regulations as well and the suspended winger was eventually loaned out to Sunderland in the third tier of English football.
