Marca says despite being left out of the team, he continues to train as normal.

Under contract until June, the Frenchman trained with the rest of the squad on Friday.

"It's a decision for the club, we are all united, we don't take unilateral decisions," Xavi said after the defeat to Athletic Club.

One thing is clear though, and Dembele will not play for the club again unless he renews his contract, and so the club are looking to sell him this month to avoid losing him for free in the summer.

The attacker does not seem keen to either renew or force a January exit and wants time to consider his future without creating any more controversy.
