Ousmane Dembélé will not move to Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer deadline later on Monday.
That’s according to a story in Le Parisien, which has quashed reports from Spain that the Barcelona forward could be set to join the French giants on deadline day.
The French paper says that the 24-year-old will now remain at the Camp Nou for the remainder of the season despite Barcelona officials admitting earlier this month that the forward was not in their future plans.
Both Mundo Deportivo and Sport had published stories on Sunday which revealed that PSG were looking to sign Dembélé on a six month loan.
Juan Bernat, Mauro Icardi and Ángel di María were also rumoured to be part of a swap deal involving the former Borussia Dortmund man.
But those have been rubbished by Le Parisien, who say that PSG will complete no incoming deals today.
