Ousmane Dembélé is determined to make his Barcelona career a success.
The Frenchman joined Barcelona in a deal worth up to €147m last summer but has struggled to leave his mark in his first season at Camp Nou.
Still only 20, injuries have held Dembélé back and his lack of form has even seen him linked with a move away from the club.
That sort of talk doesn’t interest him.
“I am not at my peak performance, but little by little, I am getting there,” the winger told Telefoot.
“I have to work on my cardio because I fatigue very quickly.
“But at Barcelona I have a better lifestyle, at Dortmund I didn’t have a good lifestyle and I was not injured, so that’s not the problem.
“I signed a five-year contract with Barca, so I will be at the club for a very long time, I am not going to leave after just one season.”
Well then, that’s settled!
