Our condolences for the passing of Bruno Capra

Bruno Capra passed away yesterday at the age of 87. The right full-back made 178 appearances in the league and cup from 1955 to 1965, scoring two goals. He was “the man of the Olimpico”, putting his signature on the play-off that won our seventh Scudetto when, with a strange turn of events, he was deployed on the left with Fulvio Bernardini’s number 11 shirt to strengthen the attack. The unexpected tactical switch messed up Herrera’s Inter’s plans and he was one of the main parts of our historical win. The whole of Bologna FC 1909 fondly remembers Bruno, one of our 1964 heroes, and we send our most heart-felt condolences to his family and friends.
