The Europa League final is certainly off to a lively start in Seville.
Frankfurt midfielder Sebastian Rode has had his split open after Rangers’ John Lundstram caught in the forehead with his studs as Rode stooped to head the ball.

Surprisingly, no VAR check was made and the former Sheffield United man avoided punishment.
But the wound itself was a nasty one.
However, it hasn’t kept Rode down as after a quick clean and bandage being applied, he returned to the action.
