Roma may never have won the Champions League, but on this day in 2018, they had one of their greatest moments in Europe with one of the all-time comebacks.
The Giallorossi were as good as out of the competiton having suffered a 4-1 loss to Barcelona at Camp Nou in the first leg of their quarter-final clash.
However, this only set the stage for an occasion not even the Colosseum could produce.
Edin Džeko's early strike gave hope, second-half penalty from skipper Daniele De Rossi gave belief, but it was Kostas Manolas' header eight minutes from time that made the impossible a reality.
It came just a year on from Barça's incredible comeback against PSG, and a year before another capitulation against Liverpool.
Probably not what they need to be reminded of with a 4-0 lead against Borussia Dortmund, but Rome will always remember.
