Spectators at Camp Nou have been treated to some of LaLiga's most iconic goals from some of the best-ever to play the game and Rivaldo's incredible overhead kick is certainly among them.
Barcelona faced Valencia late in the 2000/01 season and had to win at home to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Early nerves amongst the Blaugrana were eased when Rivaldo scored a wonderful free-kick after just three minutes.
Valencia hit back mid-way through the first-half, but Rivaldo scored his second of the evening from outside the area minutes before half time.
As the second half edged on, and the score locked at 2-2, there was a sense that the game could go either way, until Frank de Boer's lofted pass forward found Rivaldo, who controlled expertly and volleyed acrobatically into the net with just three minutes remaining.
It was a special Camp Nou moment and a strike that cemented Rivaldo's status as a Barcelona hero.
