Mark Hughes's Manchester United career was one punctuated by iconic moments and big goals in big games.
There was few bigger than the one he struck on this day in 1994.
United had been chasing a then-unprecedented domestic treble, but had stumbled at the first hurdle, losing to Aston Villa in the League Cup final.
An Alan-Shearer led Blackburn were hot on their heels in the Premier League, and it felt like the whole season could implode if the FA Cup semi-final with Oldham went awry.
It so very nearly did, with the massive underdogs leading deep, deep into extra-time.
Thankfully, Hughes was on hand to hook in yet another brilliant volley in the 119th minute to save the tie, and possibly more.
United would go on to win the replay, and eventually secure the first of three doubles under Sir Alex Ferguson in no small part due to the heroics of Hughes.
