Óscar Murillo and Roberto de la Rosa scored a brace each to help Pachuca come from behind to beat Chivas at the Estadio Hidalgo on Sunday.

Chivas hit the front when Alexis Vega played a lovely ball for Uriel Antuna to run on to and apply the perfect finish to send the Flock fans in attendance into raptures.

Pachuca levelled matters early in the second half, however, when Murillo rose to meet Ismael Sosa’s corner with a powerful header that was deflected into the net.

A combination of bad luck and poor defending opened the door for de la Rosa with just over 20 minutes to go and the Mexico U-20 striker calmly slotted though the legs of Rodríguez.

Murillo extended that lead when he headed home from another corner, this time delivered by Víctor Guzmán.

De la Rosa netted his second a minute from time before Antuna scored a consolation from the spot in stoppage time.

Chivas fall at the first fence in the play-offs, while Pachuca progress to meet América in the quarter-finals.
