Rosier, for his part, is fresh off an impressive debut campaign in Spain.

After linking up with promoted Leganés, the 28-year-old went on to rack up 32 La Liga appearances over the course of the year, chipping in with a goal and two assists from his berth at right-back.

Such exploits caught the eye of a number of clubs across the Spanish football landscape, aware of the fact that Rosier would be on the move in the case of Leganés being relegated back to the 2nd tier.

And as alluded to above, after as much was confirmed on Sunday, one such suitor have since quickly pounced.

As per MD:

‘Osasuna already have their first reinforcement for next season. French defender Valentin Rosier, who arrives on a free transfer from Leganés. It has been learned that he will sign a three-year contract to replace Rubén Peña and the likely loss of Jesús Areso.’
