The brass at La Liga outfit Osasuna are closing on a deal to bring a new manager to the club.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Alessio Lisci as the tactician on his way to Pamplona.

Lisci, for his part, is currently overseeing matters at La Liga 2 outfit Mirandés, playing a leading role in the club’s surprise ongoing push for promotion to the top-flight.

Once his commitments in the playoffs are complete, though, Lisci, it would appear, is ready to bid farewell to the Estadio Municipal de Anduva.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of MD that:

‘As El Diario de Navarra’ reported on Monday, June 9, “only details are missing” before Italian Alessio Lisci becomes the new manager of Osasuna.’

The board at El Sadar were of course forced to kick into gear a search for a new head coach last month, after Vicente Moreno suddenly announced his intention to depart in the summer.

And now, it would appear that the Rojillos have landed their man.
