Feyenoord captain Orkun Kokcu and Fortuna Sittard’s captain Burak Yilmaz have expressed their condolences as news of the earthquake in Turkey broke, De Telegraaf reports.

The earthquake’s magnitude registered at 7.8 near the city of Gaziantep in southeastern Turkey with the devastation and damage of the disaster continues to develop as dozens of aftershocks continue to affect Turkey and Syria.

A minute of silence will be held for the victims in the KNVB Cup and in the Kitchen Champion Division. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
