Following Chivas’ harsh elimination in the Repechage, the Rojiblancos must now get down to business and figure out their contract situations going into next season.
According to TV Azteca, one change that seems to be finalised is the much-predicted departure of striker Oribe Peralta.
Peralta has had a miserable time since his arrival and TV Azteca claim that Peralta has rejected the offer to stay at Chivas as a youth team manager.
The soon-to-be 38-year-old still has aspirations to finish his playing career on a high note and will look to continue his footballing days elsewhere.
The 2012 Olympic champion is Liga MX’s top active scorer, scoring 166 goals since his professional debut in 2003.
However, his Chivas career will likely end with just two goals and three assists since coming from América in summer 2019.
