Peralta will turn 36 in January and retired from the Mexican national team following the World Cup. He earned 67 caps and scored 25 goals for El Tri.

In 502 professional games, all with Mexican sides including rivals América, Peralta has scored 175 goals and contributed a further 78 assists.
