Liverpool still have one more Premier League fixture to play this season.

The Reds will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Anfield on Sunday. If Jurgen Klopp's side can win and Aston Villa take points off Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, Liverpool will win the league title.

But, we thought that we would take a look ahead. The Reds will face Real Madrid in the Champions League final the following week. The match is taking place in Paris.

Below, we have named what we believe is Klopp's strongest XI (providing everyone is fit) for the game.

Alisson - Goalkeeper

Alisson has been Liverpool's No.1 goalkeeper since 2018 and that has not changed.

The shot-stopper has been in decent form this season. Alisson has kept 20 clean sheets in the Premier League.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - Right-back

Alexander-Arnold's quality on the ball could prove to be the difference in a Champions League final.

The right-back has scored two goals and registered 19 assists in 45 appearances this season.

Joel Matip - Centre-back

Matip is without doubt Liverpool's second-best centre-back. The 30-year-old has made 42 appearances for Liverpool's first-team this season, which backs up the aforementioned argument.

Virgil van Dijk - Centre-back

Van Dijk has been Liverpool's first-choice centre-back for four years now.The Dutchman is arguably the best defender in world football. There is nothing that he can't do.

The Reds will need Van Dijk at his best if they are to defeat Real Madrid.

Andy Robertson - Left-back

Robertson is another full-back that offers plenty going forward. The Scotland international has found the back of the net twice and secured 15 assists in 45 games this season.

Robertson could produce a moment of brilliance to defeat the La Liga side.

Fabinho - Midfield

Fabinho recently suffered a reasonably serious muscle injury. But, the midfielder has confirmed that he will be fit to play in the final.

We explained earlier today why Fabinho's availability is so important for Liverpool.

Jordan Henderson - Midfield

Champions League finals are always hectic because both teams want to win so badly. Therefore, you need energy in the middle of the park. Henderson supplies that for Liverpool.

In fact, Robertson gave the 31-year-old plenty of praise in regards to his work rate after Liverpool's 4-0 victory over Manchester United earlier this season.

“Off the ball, I thought we were special, I thought we were incredible. Hendo set the tone," he told the club's official website.

“Hendo set the tone (in the) first five, 10 minutes with his pressing and with his high energy, and I think everyone just kind of followed suit. That’s what a captain does, and Hendo’s done it many a time for us and he did it again. I think we all just fed off his energy."

Thiago Alcantara - Midfield

Thiago has been solid for Liverpool this season. The Spaniard has been averaging a WhoScored player rating of 6.93 across the 2021-22 campaign.

Thiago can control a football match. Therefore, Liverpool will need him in a high-pressurised game.

Mohamed Salah - Forward

Salah scored a goal in the last Champions League final Liverpool played in, which highlights that he is more than capable of stepping up when it matters most.

The Egyptian international has a big part to play against Real Madrid.

Luis Diaz - Forward

Diaz has been exceptional since joining Liverpool from Porto for a transfer fee of £40.50 million.

In fact, the Colombia international has been that good that he has been able to work his way into Klopp's starting XI in recent months.

Sadio Mane - Forward

Mane has been in terrific form lately. The 30-year-old has scored six goals in his last 10 appearances for Liverpool.

Hopefully Mane can find the back of the net against Real Madrid.
