Only the final details missing in Victor Osimhen’s new Napoli deal | OneFootball

Only the final few details of Victor Osimhen’s new Napoli contract are missing and they will be ironed out soon.

Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda had met Napoli CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis a couple of days ago to speak about formalising terms of a new deal and the meeting was rather positive.

Rai (via CalcioNapoli24) have reported that an agreement regarding a new deal is close for Osimhen and only the last few details are missing for the Nigerian. The last major talking point was the release clause and the details remaining now are only minor.

The release clause will be at €130 million but it could also increase depending on certain factors. The Nigerian will extend his deal till 2026, with his current deal running out in the summer of 2025.

The new deal is said to be a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ to make sure that Osimhen’s exit from the club is peaceful, especially because Arsenal have already made contact with Calenda, with Chelsea also interested.
