Only five top players in Europe have scored more goals than Ciro Immobile since he made his debut with Lazio in 2016.
As reported in a Tweet by Italian stats provider OptaPaolo yesterday, the 31-year-old Italian striker has now scored 150 goals for the Biancocelesti since the 2016/17 season, making him Lazio’s all-time most prolific player.
Since Immobile made his Lazio debut in 2016, only Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe have scored more goals across Europe’s top five leagues.
The 31-year-old Italian forward is the clear star of Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio squad, and his 36 league goals last campaign were instrumental in helping the Roman club return to the Champions League for the first time in over a decade.
This season, Immobile has continued to be a key figure for the Biancocelesti, having scored 25 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions, including five in five Champions League matches.
