Only Camarda – Milan have just one International representative on Saturday | OneFootball

Francesco Camarda has often been a trailblazer at the youth level, and today, he is another one in the column, as he solely represents AC Milan internationally.

In the midst of the international break, there will be increased talk of transfers and a heavy focus on the senior players getting international football, but we must also shine a light on the youth level, where Camarda is regularly a star.

Despite struggling to step up to Serie C, the youngster found a balance in Serie A, when given the opportunity, and now a loan to the first division looks likely as Milan aim to continue his growth naturally.

Until then though, the striker can only focus on what is ahead of him, and today, it is a clash against the Spanish Under 19 side – who currently sit atop the Under 19 European Championship qualifiers group.

In their first game, Camarda could not make an impact against Latvia, but this is not a red flag at all, even the best do not score in every game. So, the process and life moves on for Camarda, and his next opportunity to impress is tonight.

However, playing against opposition three years older than him is certainly not an easy feat. Nevertheless, playing against older opponents has never phased him.
